Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. To receive quotes, provide your gender, age, general wellbeing level, whether you use tobacco, the coverage amount you want, and the number of years you need coverage. Those six inputs are all the system needs to generate carrier quotes. Personal details—name, address, health history—are requested only if you decide to submit an application.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These quoted rates represent what each carrier would charge for your chosen coverage level and health assessment. The carrier's own underwriting department determines your actual cost—it might go down, stay the same, or move to a different classification. Quotes shown here are estimates only; we don't guarantee pricing or coverage approval.
What happens when I click Apply?
Your name gets added to the application, which springs from your chosen quote offer. The form then shifts to the carriers' secure system. At any point, you may pause and return another time. Your signature is done through electronic means. Susman Insurance Agency, License 0B75129, California-licensed, manages the application workflow.
Will I need a medical exam?
That varies based on which carrier you pick, the coverage sum, and what you entered in your answers. Some carriers are designated as instant-decision carriers and can approve right away for eligible people; each quote indicates whether an exam is expected, might be ordered, or will be skipped.
Is a longer term better?
Your term length should align with the years your family would struggle financially if something happened to you: an outstanding mortgage, dependent children, business debt, or other major obligations. Paying more per month extends your lock-in period for the rate you pay. Our quote tool lets you see pricing for all five standard choices: 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 years.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote system collects zero contact information, we never buy, sell, or trade personal data, and our analytics run completely without tracking cookies. For a complete breakdown of what information we keep and who may access it, check our privacy policy.
